Platinum Palladium was popular in the late 19th century. This method of printing dramatically reveals layers of detail and luminosity unparalleled by any other printing process.
The platinum metals used actually become embedded in the fibers of the paper, providing a stability that surpasses gold. With careful choice of paper, a Platinum Palladium print can achieve an archival rating in excess of 1500 years.
Despite the expense and the painstaking nature of the printing process, Chris relies heavily on this method to process imagery. In fact, Chris is one of only a few artists in the world that have the ability to print 40" Platinum Palladium prints.
Silver Gelatin printing has been the industry standard printing process for B&W images since 1871. Chris has the unique ability to construct contact negatives from his digital files in order to create stunning limited edition prints utilizing a traditional darkroom. lford warmtone fiber is his paper of choice yielding the finest fiber base black and white silver gelatin prints available.

Piezography is an archival process that utilizes carbon-based inks, rather than standard inkjet pigments. This printing method affords the creative control of 64,000 possible shades of gray, resulting in unsurpassed tonal range, and unparalleled renderings of both highlights and shadows. Simply put Piezography is the industry standard for printing fine art B&W images utilizing a modern day printer.

INK JET PRINTING
Color images are printed on a large-format eight-ink Epson printer utilizing premium luster paper with archival quality with an estimated 80-120 year lifespan if displayed correctly under uv-protected conditions.
