Unbeknownst to many, one of the worlds greatest natural wonders is located just 3 hours south of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sandwiched between the San Andres National Wildlife Refuge and the Mescalero Reservation, White Sands is comprised of 275 square miles of glistening desert, making it the largest surface deposit of gypsum in the world.

The first Tram of the 2016 season was rememberable in every sense of the word. Blizzard conditions and waist deep powder set the stage for a very unique day. Cloud cover reflected the eastern light silhouetting skiers as they negotiated the Rendezvous Bowl.
